Cold pressed goji berry seed oil is an anti-wrinkle star! Its packed with antioxidants and essential fatty acids, to smooth wrinkles and even out skin tone. Its light enough to avoid clogging pores, and leaves skin feeling velvety.
Cold pressed papaya seed oil not only helps seal water in the skin and prevent moisture loss, it contains papain enzymes which dissolve excess sebum, preventing build-up and revealing younger looking skin. It helps to refine pores, lighten acne marks and prevent break-outs.
Mango seed butter provides lasting protection from dry, falky skin, without feeling oily. It is rich in vitamins A and C, plumping skin for a youthful look. It also helps to reduce acne scars.
Collagen is a component in the connective tissue that supports the skin, it degrades with age causing loss of skin elasticity. A daily dose of marine-sourced collagen boosts elasticity, helping to reduce fine lines.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in human tissues such as skin, but its concentration decreases with age. Applying hyaluronic acid restores skin elasticity, giving a significant anti-wrinkle effect.
Hydrolised Silk Protein is obtained from the natural silk fibres and contains polypeptides. It penetrates skin to hydrate and repair, giving a silky feel with reduced fine lines.
Water, it sounds like a boring ingredient yet it is one of the most important! Your skin needs water to quench and hydrate, keeping skin cells healthy and reducing dry flakey skin. The gentle emulsifying wax in our formulation (containing Cetearyl Alcohol and PEG 20 Stearate) binds water with our luxurious oils, to deliver both deep into the skin.
Vegetable glycerin is a powerful humectant, this means it helps to draw moisture into your skin. We choose to use palm oil free glycerin made from rapeseed plants. The high level of glycerin in our formulation keeps your skin hydrated for longer and provides an excellent base for makeup.
To keep our face cream formulation fresh and free from bacteria and fungi in the environment, we add a very low level of preservative. The preservative we use is a combination of Dehydroacetic acid and benzyl alcohol, to provide broad spectrum protection. This preservative is approved by Ecocert for use in organic products.
We add a very low concentration of fragrance to our face cream, purely for enjoyment. This beautiful fruity scent is naturally derived from citrus oils and contains no nasties.
